“MIG” Holding and National Industries Park, a subsidiary of DP World, have announced the opening of CivTech, the largest precast concrete factory in the Middle East, covering an area of 2.2 million square feet. The inauguration was attended by Abdulla bin Damithan, CEO & Managing Director of DP World GCC, and Eng. Abdel Halim Mouhed, Chairman of MIG Holding and CivTech.

The advanced facility includes a 750,000-square-foot production area and an 800,000-square-foot storage yard, with an annual production capacity exceeding 700,000 cubic meters. CivTech is expected to drive a major transformation in the UAE’s construction sector by providing high-quality precast concrete solutions, designed to enhance project efficiency and execution, particularly amid the sector’s rapid growth.

During his speech at the inauguration, Eng. Abdel Halim Mouhed highlighted the factory’s transformative role in the future of construction, with next-generation precast concrete technologies. He stated:
“This achievement aligns with our ambitious vision to expand in the construction sector and deliver innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and quality.”

Meanwhile, Abdulla bin Damithan toured the new facility and reviewed its advanced production systems, emphasizing its anticipated contribution to the UAE’s industrial sector.

Expressing his appreciation for the milestone, bin Damithan said:
“We are proud to inaugurate the pioneering CivTech facility at the National Industries Park. The construction sector contributes approximately 12% to the UAE’s economy, with an expected compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.26% until 2030. Innovation is key to supporting operational efficiencies in manufacturing, and CivTech’s advanced technology will enhance construction quality while strengthening the local and regional supply chain for precast concrete solutions.”

It is worth noting that the launch of CivTech represents a strategic initiative to strengthen the construction, industrial, and manufacturing ecosystem in the UAE, supporting national programs such as “Operation 300 Billion”, the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology.
