The Ritz-Carlton, Doha is delighted to present B-Zakaya – a laid-back weeknight brunch concept staged at the iconic B-Lounge, Doha. Inspired by the vibrant energy of Japan’s Izakaya culture, renowned for its casual social vibe and sharing philosophy, it is where guests can enjoy an exclusive evening filled with pan-Asian fusion cuisine and memorable service.

Launched to local medias and influencers on 15 April, B-Zakaya’s opening night saw Doha’s movers and shakers converge for an evening of refined cuisine and exciting socializing. Set to become a weekly staple for those who seek out the city’s most iconic lifestyle moments, the evening includes live entertainment and B-Lounge’s legendary lounge atmosphere.

More than just a dining experience, B-Zakaya offers a culinary journey through bold flavors and creative presentation. Highlights from the menu includes Hamachi Maki with Jalapeños and Wasabi Mayo, Softshell Crab Karaage Roll with Pineapple Mayonnaise, and last night’s crowd favorite, B-Zakaya Seabass, served in a soul-warming laksa coconut broth with prawns and calamansi. Guests can round off the evening with a rotating selection of the chef’s signature desserts. The beverage offering is equally memorable, featuring handcrafted drinks such as the Ogasawara Island with pandan and coconut, and the B-Zakaya Tomyum – a zesty, aromatic blend with Thai chili, lemongrass, and kaffir lime.

“We are delighted to introduce B-Zakaya to Doha’s dining scene,” said Koni Kim, Director of Food & Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha. “This concept brings an exciting new dynamic to mid-week dining, offering a fresh and playful atmosphere paired with the high standards our guests expect. Renowned for its creativity and international spirit, B-Lounge is the ideal venue for B-Zakaya’s innovative offering.”

A stylish reimagining of the classic weeknight brunch, B-Zakaya will take place every Tuesday from 8.30pm to 11.00pm. Priced from QAR 250 for the Soft Package and QAR 350 for the Enhanced Package, guests are invited to immerse themselves in the Izakaya-style scenery, where twinkling lights create an atmosphere reminiscent of a lantern-lit Tokyo street-bar, set against the backdrop of stunning Doha marina-side views.

Bringing the laid-back appeal of brunch to a glittering evening setting, B-Zakaya is set to enrich Qatar’s gastronomic scene with an exciting new mid-week culinary experience. Celebrated as one of the city’s most diverse dining destinations, The Ritz-Carlton, Doha is delighted to add this sparkling event to its thriving portfolio of creative concepts.
