Pattaya, Thailand – 11 August 2026 – Thailand welcomed outstanding young learners from across Asia and beyond as NADA for Mental Arithmetic and Wonder Kids successfully hosted the International Mental Arithmetic, English Spelling and Mathematics 2026 – Thailand at the Brighton Grand Hotel, Pattaya on Saturday, 8 August.

The international competition brought together participants from Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, Laos, Russia, and India, creating a vibrant platform for students to showcase their academic excellence in mental arithmetic, English spelling, and mathematics through an innovative tablet-based online competition system conducted on-site.

The event highlighted the growing role of educational technology in transforming academic competitions by combining digital innovation with in-person participation, enabling fair, engaging, and efficient assessments for students from different countries.

Winners were recognised with medals, trophies, and tablet devices, celebrating their exceptional performance while encouraging continued academic achievement and digital learning.

Prof. Wichian Latif, Director of NADA, said: “This competition reflects our commitment to developing children’s cognitive abilities and creating opportunities for international academic exchange. By bringing together students from different countries, we are fostering excellence, confidence, and a passion for lifelong learning.”

Kitappa BuengBon, CEO and Co-founder of Wonder Kids, added: “Technology is changing the way children learn. By using digital tools, we can make learning more interactive, engaging, and accessible for students. Our goal at Wonder Kids is to develop educational technology that helps schools, teachers, and students achieve better learning outcomes while making education more enjoyable and effective.”

Khaled Hammad, Founder of Wonder Kids, commented: “The successful delivery of this international competition marks another milestone for Wonder Kids. We developed the online competition platform, that includes learning, practice, and test sections for students to get ready for the actual competition used throughout the event to ensure a seamless and reliable experience for participants and organisers alike. Looking ahead, our vision is to expand these international competitions into additional countries while continuing to develop advanced educational applications that empower schools, tutor centers, and after-school learning centers worldwide.”

Developed by Wonder Kids, the competition platform enabled participants to complete assessments digitally on tablets while competing together in the same venue, demonstrating how educational technology can support large-scale international academic events.

Wonder Kids is a modern education franchise that combines teacher-led instruction with innovative educational technology to create a more engaging and effective learning experience. Offering franchise opportunities in English, and Mathematics, together with its digital learning platform and educational applications, Wonder Kids provides franchisees with a complete business solution that includes curriculum, technology, teaching methods, and operational systems—helping teachers teach more effectively, students learn more enjoyably, and education centres grow successfully.

Beyond organizing competitions, Wonder Kids specializes in developing innovative educational applications designed for schools, tutor centers, and after-school centres, helping educators enhance learning outcomes through interactive digital solutions.
