The ISP Middle East school has been recognised in the Tes Awards for International Schools 2025 for innovation and measurable impact in education technology

Doha Qatar 20 November 2025 — The Hamilton International School in Doha has been shortlisted for Best Use of Technology in the Tes Awards for International Schools 2025. The school, part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), was recognised for its innovative use of digital learning to strengthen multilingual achievement and improve student outcomes.

Among the top eight finalists from hundreds of international schools worldwide, this recognition places The Hamilton International School alongside leading innovators in education technology across the globe.

ISP’s data-driven use of technology is transforming multilingual learning across its 100+ schools worldwide, positioning the group as a leader in purposeful EdTech integration.

The Tes Awards for International Schools celebrate outstanding teachers and schools across the global-research-on-the-future-of-skills-in-higher-education/”>world. The Best Use of Technology category highlights schools that use digital tools thoughtfully and effectively to make a measurable difference in student learning.

Through ISP’s partnership with FlashAcademy®, a digital platform for English as an Additional Language (EAL) assessment and learning, The Hamilton International School has boosted both proficiency and confidence among its multilingual learners. Across more than 30 select ISP schools, over 2,500 students have completed 4,000 lessons, with 80 percent improving by at least one proficiency band, double the industry benchmark. The Hamilton International School achieved a 75.3 percent engagement rate, making it one of the most successful examples of EdTech adoption within ISP.

The nomination follows the school’s recent multilingualism accreditation from the Bell Foundation for excellence in EAL provision. It reinforces The Hamilton International School’s position as a premium American international school that combines world-class facilities, innovative teaching, and academic rigour. Students benefit from an inclusive and ambitious community where they are encouraged to discover their voice, achieve excellence, and prepare for success at top global universities.

“This recognition celebrates the dedication of The Hamilton International School community and ISP’s shared commitment to using technology to improve student outcomes,” said Emily Porter, Chief Learning Officer, International Schools Partnership. “We’re proud of the dedication our students and teachers have shown; this recognition truly belongs to them.”

Building on this global recognition, ISP Middle East highlights how innovation and collaboration are shaping classroom practice across the region.

“At ISP Middle East, we see this achievement as a reflection of how innovation and collaboration are redefining teaching and learning across our schools,” said Rory Galvin, Learning Director, International Schools Partnership – Middle East. “Through professional development, shared expertise, and purposeful use of technology, our teachers are creating more dynamic and inclusive classrooms. The Hamilton International School’s success shows what happens when that regional learning culture comes to life.”

At the school level, this success story reflects the everyday impact of innovation on students and teachers within The Hamilton International School community.

“Being shortlisted for the Tes Awards for International Schools 2025 for our use of technology is a proud moment for The Hamilton International School,” said Terry Senior, Principal, The Hamilton International School. ““This recognition reflects our commitment to using technology purposefully to support multilingual learning and improve outcomes for all our students.”.”
