Doha, Qatar – May 5, 2026: Hisense, in collaboration with its strategic partner in Qatar, Modern Home, has introduced an extended warranty offering on its air conditioning range in Qatar, reinforcing its commitment to long-term reliability and customer confidence.

The new coverage includes a 4-year warranty on air conditioning units and a 5-year warranty on compressors, providing customers with enhanced peace of mind and a stronger after-sales value proposition.

The extended warranty was announced earlier this year during a dedicated partner gathering hosted by Hisense and Modern Home in Doha, where the brand shared key updates on its product strategy and ongoing investments in the local market.

In a region defined by extreme temperatures and continuous cooling demands, reliability and durability are critical factors in choosing an air conditioning system. Hisense’s latest range of air conditioners is designed to perform consistently under such conditions, integrating advanced cooling technologies, energy-efficient systems, and intelligent features that ensure optimal performance while reducing energy consumption. The introduction of this extended warranty further reinforces the brand’s confidence in the quality and longevity of its products, while offering customers added assurance in their long-term investment.

Hisense’s air conditioning portfolio features smart and environmentally conscious solutions developed to meet the evolving needs of modern households and businesses. These systems are engineered to deliver enhanced efficiency, improved air quality, and seamless user control, supporting both comfort and sustainability

In this context, Mr. Jason Ou, President of Hisense Middle East, Africa and India, stated: ‘Our partnership with Modern Home and our air conditioning partners is a cornerstone of Hisense’s strategy in Qatar. Through continuous investment in innovation and the development of our distribution ecosystem, we are committed to delivering reliable, high-performance solutions that meet customer expectations and support sustainable growth in the local market.’

Hisense air conditioners are available at the brand’s stores in Lagoona Mall and on Al Shafi Street in Al Rayyan. They are also available at Modern Home in Al Maha Center on Salwa Road, Fnac stores in Lagoona Mall, Doha Festival City, and Place Vendme, as well as other major electronics retailers across Qatar.

Saudi Ministry Boosts International Cooperation for Hajj Compliance

RIYADH, May 3, 2026 — The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is continuing its intensive coordination with international Hajj affairs offices to promote awareness of official procedures. The goal is to ensure that essential guidance and instructional messages reach pilgrims in their home countries well before they arrive in the Kingdom. These international efforts aim to establish the Hajj permit as the only safe and legitimate pathway for the pilgrimage. By adhering to these regulations, pilgrims ensure their journey is organized from its very first stages. The permit guarantees access to comprehensive field and logistical service
