Doha, <a href="https://gulfeyenews.com/visit-qatar-returns-as-presenting-partner-for-the-second-edition-of-the-qatar-goodwood-festival-presented-by-visit-qatar/”>Qatar – August 1, 2026: As part of its strategic vision to prepare a new generation of leaders in finance and investment, Dukhan Bank organized the Next-Gen 26 Program, an integrated two-week learning experience spanning Doha and Geneva. The program was designed to equip the children of its key Private Banking clients with the knowledge and expertise needed to navigate a challenging financial landscape and continue managing and growing their families’ wealth across generations.

Dukhan Bank’s award-winning Private Banking and Wealth Management department combines deep local knowledge with international expertise, drawing on more than 70 years of collective market experience to provide tailored, Shariah-compliant solutions for clients and their families. Its expertise was recently recognized by Global Finance, which named Dukhan Bank the “World’s Best Islamic Private Bank” for the third consecutive year.

The Next-Gen 26 Program combined financial education, practical learning, and international exposure to deepen participants’ understanding of wealth planning, investment management, family governance, and the responsible transfer of wealth across generations. The program was delivered in collaboration with Lombard Odier & Co. Ltd, a Swiss private bank.

During the Doha component, held at Dukhan Bank’s headquarters in Lusail, participants explored wealth transfer and planning, financial knowledge, macroeconomics, risk and reward, traditional and alternative asset classes, structured products, investment management, portfolio construction, and performance evaluation.

The sessions combined theoretical learning with practical portfolio exercises and real-world scenarios. Participants also gained direct insights into Dukhan Bank through presentations from its Wealth Management, Corporate Banking, Treasury, Strategy and Marketing, and Investments teams, followed by a guided tour of the Bank’s headquarters.

The Geneva component offered an international perspective through sessions led by Lombard Odier covering investment offerings, macroeconomic factors affecting market performance, discretionary portfolio management and Shariah-compliant mandates, alternative investments, commodities, foreign exchange, private assets, wealth planning, and family governance.

Participants also took part in a portfolio construction workshop and a curated series of cultural and experiential activities designed to complement the program’s educational objectives. These included a tour of Lombard Odier, as well as visits to Pascoët in Carouge and Vacheron Constantin, offering participants a closer look at two distinct business journeys: the stewardship of a centuries-old family legacy and the creation of a modern, founder-led enterprise from the ground up.

Reflecting on the experience, the participants said:

“The Next-Gen 26 Program gave us a deeper and more practical understanding of wealth management, from investment decision-making and portfolio construction to family governance and long-term responsibility. We greatly valued the opportunity to learn directly from experts in Doha and Geneva, and we appreciate the thought, access, and effort that Dukhan Bank and its partners invested in every aspect of the program.”

Commenting on the program, Mr. Ahmed I. Hashem, Acting Group Chief Executive Officer of Dukhan Bank, said:

“Preparing the next generation requires more than developing technical knowledge. It also calls for perspective, sound judgment, and a strong foundation and understanding of the responsibilities associated with managing and preserving wealth. Through the Next-Gen 26 Program, we sought to provide participants with practical financial knowledge, exposure to international expertise, and a deeper appreciation of responsible, long-term decision-making. We are proud of their achievements and remain committed to supporting the development of future leaders who can contribute meaningfully to their families, their communities, and Qatar’s continued progress.”

Through the Next-Gen 26 Program, Dukhan Bank reinforced its commitment to building enduring relationships with its Private Banking clients beyond traditional financial services. The initiative also reflects the Bank’s focus on supporting the development of informed, responsible, and future-focused young Qataris in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.

Doha-Qatar, August 2, 2026: Ford 5.0-liter V8-based race engines were pushed to extremes no streetcar would ever see, revealing opportunities to strengthen components like the camshaft drive to better perform under high-stress conditions. Engineers refined the design on the track and carried those improvements back into the production 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine. This is just one example of how Ford is bringing learnings from race testing to vehicles used for trailer towing, grocery store runs, and oceanside road trips.
