Riyadh, June 2025: In a move set to deepen economic insight and advisory services across Saudi Arabia, Oxford Business Group (OBG) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Strategic Gears, a Saudi-based management consulting firm, to jointly produce high-impact research and advisory content supporting the Kingdom’s economic transformation under Vision 2030.

The two-year agreement formalises a strategic collaboration aimed at fostering knowledge exchange, policy analysis and investment insight through joint publications, advisory projects and thought leadership initiatives. It underscores a shared commitment to delivering relevant, data-driven economic intelligence that reflects Saudi Arabia’s evolving priorities.

Strategic Gears will contribute its expertise in key sectors such as public sector reform, digital economy and investment facilitation. The partnership is designed to provide both public and private stakeholders with research-based insights aligned with the Kingdom’s long-term development objectives. Areas of focus will include public policy, economic diversification and regulatory evolution.

Commenting on the partnership, Ahmed Essam, Partner at Strategic Gears, said:

“This collaboration represents a major step in expanding access to actionable insights on Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation. Together, we aim to provide timely, grounded perspectives on ongoing reforms and investment opportunities.”

Busra Karacadag, OBG’s Country Director for Saudi Arabia, welcomed the agreement and the role of Strategic Gears in enriching the firm’s analysis of the local market.

“We are excited to formalise this partnership with Strategic Gears as we continue to deepen our research and advisory efforts in Saudi Arabia. Their strategic insight and local expertise are invaluable assets as we analyse and showcase the Kingdom’s transformation journey.”

With global market shifts and the energy transition underway, Saudi Arabia’s diversification journey demands strong, data-driven economic analysis. This collaboration aims to meet that need.

The first joint research piece under this partnership is expected later this year, focusing on key sectors aligned with Vision 2030.
