Raffles Doha Earns Prestigious Accolade; Ratings Showcased on ForbesTravelGuide.com

Doha, Qatar, 12 February 2026: Forbes Travel Guide (‘FTG’), the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas and cruise ships, today announced its 2026 Star Awards. Raffles Doha earned a new Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star award and is showcased with other honourees on ForbesTravelGuide.com.

Situated within the iconic Katara Towers, Raffles Doha is a defining masterpiece of Lusail’s skyline. It has established a new global benchmark for ultra-luxury hospitality as Qatar’s first all-suite property. As you step into the soaring kaleidoscopic atrium of Raffles Doha, you are greeted with a personalised welcome. The hotel’s suites feature majestic, vaulted ceilings and private balconies that open up to spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf. The legendary Raffles Butler service ensures world-class hospitality.

The hotel’s commitment to refinement extends into its rare cultural sanctuaries, most notably Blue Cigar, a library lounge housing over 7,000 rare books and first editions. The property is also home to the Michelin-starred Italian concept ALBA and the country’s first Raffles Spa offering high-performance luxury treatments by Dr Burgener Switzerland.

This year, Raffles Doha successfully attained the highest rating for the third year running, having first secured the rating in its first year of operation.

‘Maintaining the Forbes Five-Star rating for three consecutive years is a big achievement for our team. The recognition speaks to the depths of detail, discipline and consistency in providing both culinary excellence and personalised guest experiences. We are proud of successfully meeting Forbes Travel Guide’s rigorous evaluation standards and world-class service benchmarks. This award belongs to our dedicated staff who consistently deliver exceptional levels of service expected by our guests,’ said Andrew Steele, Managing Director Katara Towers.

Forbes Travel Guide’s highly anticipated 68th annual Star Awards list covers 100 countries.

‘Forbes Travel Guide’s Star Award winners exemplify excellence in hospitality,’ said Amanda Frasier, President of Standards & Ratings for Forbes Travel Guide. ‘This year’s list reflects the changing landscape of luxury with properties setting the standard for authentic experiences while offering unparalleled amenities, enhanced well-being and delivering unforgettable moments. We are thrilled to recognise their dedication to creating truly world-class travel options for today’s discerning guest.’
