Hannover-based photography software startup extends its client gallery, photo proofing and video feedback tools to an international english-speaking audience.
HANNOVER, Germany, 6 October 2026 — GalleryDock, an online client gallery platform founded by photographer Edmond Rätzel, became available in English internationally on 24 September 2026. The release gives English-speaking photographers and filmmakers worldwide access to its tools for presenting visual work and managing the client interactions that follow a shoot.
Connecting Creative Work with the Client Experience
GalleryDock combines online photo galleries, photo proofing, client image selection, password protection, print sales and video feedback. The platform addresses a practical part of a creative assignment: clients need to view the work, communicate their choices and respond to the material presented to them.
For wedding, portrait and commercial photographers, the client gallery is a stage of the project in its own right. It provides a setting for a finished image collection and can support the transition from viewing photographs to choosing images or ordering prints. GalleryDock brings these activities into a photography-focused workflow.
Filmmakers can also share visual projects with clients and gather video feedback. For creative professionals working across photography and film, the combination supports different kinds of client response through one platform.
Website Embedding and Photo Print Sales
GalleryDock first launched publicly in June 2026. Website embedding followed in July, allowing galleries to be integrated into compatible websites using an embed code. An optional print shop can be included, connecting the gallery and print ordering experience with a photographer’s existing website.
Print sales extend the client workflow beyond digital viewing. For photography businesses offering physical photo products, this connects the presentation of an image collection with the opportunity for clients to order prints.
English Availability Supports International Access
The September English-language release broadens access beyond GalleryDock’s initial German-language audience. Its focus remains on the specific needs of photography and filmmaking businesses: visual presentation, image selection, feedback and photo print sales.
The platform is based in Hannover, Germany, and operates with a team of two. GalleryDock is bootstrapped and was founded by photographer Edmond Rätzel, whose professional background informs its focus on the relationship between creative work and client presentation.
New users can start with three free galleries. Additional use is subject to the available plans. Product information is available at GalleryDock.
