    Doha, Qatar, 8 December 2025: The Organising Committee of the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2026) has signed an agreement with Al Abdulghani Motors, appointing the company as the ‘Platinum Sponsor’ of the ninth edition of the event, scheduled to take place from 19-22 January 2026 at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

    The four-day event will be held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, The Amir of the State of Qatar, Head of State and Supreme Commander of the Qatar Armed Forces, hosted and organised by the Qatar Armed Forces.

    Al Abdulghani Motors’ participation and sponsorship of the event reflect its commitment to supporting key national events that enhance Qatar’s position on the global stage. It also underscores the importance of collaboration between government entities, private companies, and national initiatives, strengthening partnerships that advance the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.

    The signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Defence in the presence of HE Lt Gen (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai, Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces and Abdulghani Nasser Al-Abdulghani, Chief Executive Officer of Al Abdulghani Motors. The agreement was signed by Staff Brigadier (Sea) Abdulbaqi Saleh Al-Ansari, Chairman of the DIMDEX Organising Committee, and Abdo Sweidan, Chief Operating Officer at Al Abdulghani Motors.

    HE Lt Gen (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai, Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces, commented: ‘Supporting the defence sector is a pivotal element in consolidating national stability and ensuring a secure environment that drives economic growth. Strengthening our defence capabilities relies on building an integrated system of cooperation among vital sectors, which in turn supports the development of national industries, fosters innovation, and enhances readiness and efficiency across all areas. This integration between defence, economic, and industrial sectors forms a key foundation for achieving these objectives.’

    Staff Brigadier (Sea) Abdulbaqi Saleh Al-Ansari, Chairman of the DIMDEX Organising Committee, said: ‘We welcome Al Abdulghani Motors as the Platinum Sponsor of the ninth edition of DIMDEX. Their contribution demonstrates the commitment of leading private sector companies to supporting events organised by the State of Qatar. This sponsorship represents a strategic commitment to national priorities, drives sustainable progress, and enhances the company’s presence locally and internationally.’
