Visit Qatar has announced the launch of its annual summer campaign under the slogan ‘Hala Summer’, inviting families and visitors from GCC countries to experience a summer programme of events and entertainment across the State of Qatar.

With close proximity and seamless connectivity by air and land, Qatar offers a convenient and easily accessible summer destination for GCC travellers. The campaign reflects Visit Qatar’s commitment to delivering a fully integrated tourism experience, combining hospitality, entertainment and family-oriented offerings within a culturally familiar environment.

Running from May to the end of September 2026, the campaign reinforces Qatar’s positioning as a vibrant summer destination, showcasing a diverse mix of entertainment, hospitality and leisure experiences available across the country, with a strong focus on indoor and outdoor climate-controlled venues.

The season will feature a diverse line-up of experiences tailored to families, friends, couples and adventure seekers. Highlights include the Qatar Toy Festival, alongside immersive attractions such as ‘Minecraft World’, ‘Colorverse’,  ‘Fontana Circus’, and Sneaker Con. The programme also includes a series of concerts, including a performance by John Legend on 10 September.

Across the country’s leading shopping malls, including Doha Festival City, Mall of Qatar, Villaggio, Place Vendme, Landmark, Doha Mall, Al Hazm, Tawar Mall, Hyatt Plaza and City Center, visitors can enjoy live performances, activations and character appearances throughout the season.

A selection of hotels and resorts will offer curated summer experiences, from seasonal menus to stay packages and family-friendly activities tailored to GCC visitor preferences. Visitors can also explore water-based attractions such as Meryal Waterpark on Qetaifan Island, alongside theme parks and a range of indoor entertainment options. Beach clubs, dining venues and recreational experiences further enhance the offering, complemented by seasonal promotions and booking packages designed for GCC travellers.

While summer in Qatar represents an ideal destination for families, with activities designed to suit visitors from all ages – it also offers unforgettable experiences for couples seeking luxury and relaxation in world-class resorts, as well as for groups of friends looking for exciting adventures, from vibrant beach clubs and refined, air-conditioned dining experiences to a wide range of entertainment activities such as ziplining over turquoise shores and enjoying water parks.

With the season extending over five months, Visit Qatar’s ‘Hala Summer’ campaign reflects the continued expansion of Qatar’s summer offering, with events and experiences taking place across multiple locations. The campaign invites visitors from GCC countries to explore Qatar during the summer season and engage with a diverse programme of activities.
