Doha, Qatar – 08 July 2026 – Msheireb Museums has announced the launch of its 2026 Summer Programme, ‘Reflections of Creativity and Art,’ offering a diverse programme of creative workshops and interactive activities for children, families and adults. Designed to combine creativity, technology, culture and inclusive learning, the programme will run from 6 July to 13 August 2026 at Bin Jelmood House, while the Inclusive Discovery Camp will take place at Company House from 5 July to 27 August 2026. Together, the two programmes are expected to welcome more than 300 participants and 600 visitors throughout the summer season.

The programme is delivered in partnership with VCUarts Qatar and CamelCode, featuring 12 interactive workshops, alongside the four-week Inclusive Discovery Camp, organised in collaboration with Life Skills Hub. Designed for children and young people aged 4 to 16 and above, the programme offers hands-on learning experiences that foster creativity, curiosity, collaboration and lifelong learning at one of Qatar’s leading cultural destinations.

Commenting on the launch, Fatima Al Mansoori, Education Manager at Msheireb Museums, said: ‘Msheireb Museums continues to strengthen its position as a leading platform for learning, dialogue and cultural exchange. This year’s summer programme reflects that vision by offering high-quality educational experiences that combine creativity with knowledge, inspiring young people while deepening their connection to Qatar’s heritage and culture.’

She added: ‘We are committed to empowering children and young people to explore new horizons, develop practical skills and expand their knowledge through innovative, hands-on learning experiences that nurture curiosity and a lifelong passion for learning. By bringing together art, technology and inclusive education, we have created a comprehensive programme that gives every child an equal opportunity to learn, create and grow in an inspiring environment that celebrates diversity, promotes inclusion and helps prepare the next generation to innovate and contribute meaningfully to the future.’

The programme features a series of creative art workshops inspired by Qatari culture and heritage, including Msheireb Clay Modelling, Creative Dot Painting, and Art & Karak. Participants will have the opportunity to explore a variety of artistic techniques while developing their creative skills through engaging, hands-on experiences.

Emphasising innovation s a tool for cultural storytelling, the programme also includes technology workshops for children focusing on coding, design thinking and sustainability. Through interactive projects, participants will create arcade games inspired by local culture, design architectural models of Msheireb Downtown Doha using 3D printing, and develop solar-powered smart home prototypes, introducing them to renewable energy, smart technologies and sustainable urban development.

The workshops will be held as standalone two-hour sessions from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Bin Jelmood House between 6 July and 13 August 2026.

Reinforcing its commitment to accessibility and community inclusion, Msheireb Museums is also presenting the Inclusive Discovery Camp in partnership with Life Skills Hub. Running over four weeks, the camp is specifically designed for children of all abilities and offers a diverse programme of activities including creative arts, music and movement, science, swimming and water activities, physical education, social skills development, and educational excursions.
