DOHA, QATAR 22 NOVEMBER 2025 – Go Active, a comprehensive mind-and-body studio, was officially inaugurated in November through a state-of-the-art location in Doha’s West Walk. The studio builds on the success of Go Pilates, a specialized studio launched in the iconic Aspire Park earlier in 2025.
Pilates is a mind-body exercise method that focuses on controlled movement, core strength, flexibility, and posture. It is low-impact, precise, and designed to make the human body move better and harder.
Through the new Go Active studio, a diverse range of classes and services are offered to women including pilates, functional fitness, suspension training, Zumba and trampoline fitness. To date, more than 25,000 fitness-seekers have subscribed to Go Active and Go PIlates classes.
Speaking about the inauguration of the Go Active studio, Omaima Jebbari, Manager at Go Active said: ‘Our studio was built with women in Qatar at its heart — a space where they can move with confidence, strengthen their bodies, and find balance in their daily lives. We focus on more than just fitness; we focus on wellbeing, community, and helping every woman feel powerful.’
Pilates was created in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, a German physical trainer. As a child, Joseph struggled with illnesses such as asthma and rickets, which drove him to study anatomy, physical culture, gymnastics, boxing, and martial arts.
