The Doha International Music and Marching Festival (Doha Tattoo) concluded its inaugural edition after four days filled with musical and military performances hosted at Katara Cultural Village, drawing an impressive audience of 14,237 visitors from various nationalities. The event marks its first-ever staging in the Middle East.

Held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force ‘Lekhwiya,’ and organised by the Ministry of Interior in collaboration with Visit Qatar, the festival served as a global platform that brought together military music and disciplined marching in a fully integrated artistic spectacle.

The festival featured the participation of military music bands from seven countries: the State of Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, the Republic of Trkiye, and the Republic of Kazakhstan. A total of 18 bands presented diverse performances reflecting the unique character, culture, and musical heritage of each participating nation.

The participating bands delivered musical and marching performances distinguished by harmony and precision, transforming the festival venues into open-air stages where the sounds of drums and brass instruments blended with synchronized marching steps. The performances were met with strong audience engagement, becoming an integral part of the artistic scene.

The festival successfully achieved its objectives by highlighting military music as a universal art form that transcends formal settings, reinforcing Doha’s position as a leading destination for international events, and affirming music as a means of communication between people and a message of peace that transcends languages and borders.

Over four nights, festivalgoers experienced a vibrant celebratory atmosphere that reflected the diversity of the participating cultures and the richness of the artistic programme, adding a new chapter to Doha’s entertainment landscape. The participating bands also took part in the National Day Parade held along the Doha Corniche during the 2025 Qatar National Day.

The festival concluded on Saturday evening, 20 December 2025, leaving behind resonant musical echoes in the memories of attendees and confirming the event as a launchpad for a series of future international events to be hosted by the State of Qatar.

Through this, the Doha International Music and Marching Festival further cements Doha’s status as a global platform for the arts and a destination that brings together culture, creativity, and human connection.
