    Seven of the eight pairs set to contest the semi-finals of the Lotto Brussels Premier Padel P2 are among the top four seeds across both the men’s and women’s draws. Then there are Tamara Icardo and Claudia Jensen, who have already reached the penultimate stage this season in Riyadh and Gijon and will aim to go one step further on Saturday at the Gare Maritime – Tour & Taxis. Icardo and Jensen, seeded number 5, secured their semi-final place with a 6-4 6-2 win over Ari Sanchez and Andrea Ustero, earning a meeting with Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay, which will open the afternoon session at 17:00. Delfi Brea and Gemma Triaydefeated Ale Salazar and Ale Alonso 6-3 6-1 in one hour and 12 minutes. The first semi-final of the day will instead see Claudia Fernandez and Sofia Araujo (6-2 7-5 against Jessica Castelló and Lorena Rufo) face Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez (6-2 6-4 against Marta Ortega and Martina Calvo).MEN The predictions were respected in the men’s draw, where the top four seeded pairs all secured a place in the semi-finals. Not before14:00, Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan (who defeated Fran Guerrero and Paquito Navarro 6-1 6-0 in 47 minutes) will face Juan Lebron and Leo Augsburger (7-5 6-4 against Edu Alonso and Aimar Goñi). Not before 19:00, Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia, after a 7-6 5-7 6-3 win over Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz, will take on Franco Stupaczuk and Mike Yanguas, who progressed with a 6-1 6-2 victory over Jairo Bautista and Lucas Campagnolo.

    CMU-Q to enroll largest cohort in campus history

    Doha, Qatar – April 25, 2026: – Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) hosted the newly admitted students at Marhaba Tartans, an event where the students can learn more about the university as they make their decisions of where they will attend. CMU-Q is a Qatar Foundation partner university. This was a record-breaking admission cycle, with a campus high of more than 3,000 students applying for admission. This year, the university has increased the seats available in the first-year class to 140, a 20% increase from the 2025 admission cycle.
