Two tournaments, two finals: the partnership between Claudia Fernandez and Martina Calvo is showing great promise. After reaching the final at the P1 in Pretoria, they have now done it again in London. The outcome of the semi-final was the same, as was the defeated pair, with Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez beaten 6-2 6-4 in the first semi-final played at Olympia London, which lasted one hour and 58 minutes. Tomorrow, not before 2 p.m. local time (3 p.m. CEST), Fernandez and Calvo will therefore try to change the outcome compared with a week ago, as they will once again face Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay, who emerged victorious from a marathon second semi-final against Ari Sanchez and Andrea Ustero. The match ended 7-6 5-7 6-3 after three hours of action in which almost everything happened: Delfi and Gemma won the first set after coming back from 1-5 down, then lost the second after leading 5-3 with three match points, before finally finding two breaks after losing serve first in the opening game. The top seeds will be looking for their third consecutive title, having triumphed in Malaga before Pretoria.

MEN After two tournaments, the most eagerly anticipated men’s final is back: the ‘Clasico’ between Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia and Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan. If Juan Lebron and Leo Augsburger interrupted the long-running rivalry in Malaga, while Fran Guerrero and Javi Leal did so in Pretoria, London will see the two strongest pairs on the planet face each other again, not before 4 p.m. local time. Both pairs won their semi-finals in straight sets: Coello and Tapia needed 57 minutes to beat Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno 6-3 6-2, while the second semi-final was more closely contested, with the ‘Chingalan’ defeating Lebron and Augsburger 7-6 6-3. In 2026, seven titles for Coello/Tapia, six for Chingotto/Galan: will it be all square or will one pair pull further ahead?
