Prints inspired by the coats of beautiful animals are the starting point of the project where duster coats, jackets, dresses, cardigans, shirts, skirts and trousers feature the patterns found in nature. The cue is not literal, however, starting with the colour selection, all in shades of white, black and nude.
The leopard, zebra, pony and pheasant patterns are reinterpreted with a graphic flair, ready to turn into optical suggestions, or reworked by distorting them elegantly, like the vertically positioned zebra pattern.
These pieces in silk, wool or jersey are complemented by the crocodile-print ultra-soft leather bomber jacket with 3/4 sleeves.
Animalier is therefore the mood, but it is the styling that brings out all its modernity: the different prints are worn mixed together, for a hyper-refined total look.
And to round it all off, the single-handle bag in printed saffiano, the mobile phone cross-body pouch and a small belt.
The ‘Animalia’ project will be available in all Marina Rinaldi shops, online and in the best multi-brand stores from August.
