Awarded Platinum for Best Sporting Event, Best Public Event and Best B2C Event

<a href="https://gulfeyenews.com/doha-design-district-launches-public-art-open-call-to-shape-the-future-of-creative-placemaking-in-doha/”>Doha, Qatar – 14 April 2026: Polo AlMarsa Qatar proudly announces its remarkable achievement at the internationally renowned MUSE Creative Awards 2026, where the event was honored with Platinum recognition—the highest accolade—in the categories of Sporting Event, Public Event, and B2C Event. These Platinum victories highlight Polo AlMarsa’s excellence in delivering world-class sporting experiences and innovative public events, setting new benchmarks for Qatar’s sports industry while reinforcing its influence on the global stage.

Hosted by Qatar Polo Club, organized by MUSE, with leading event management company, Ficher Appelt, the event honored Argentina and Chile through the Years of Culture partnership, drawing over 5,500 spectators with thrilling matches, heritage shows, and vibrant activations.

Polo AlMarsa Qatar 2025 brought three days of world-class polo in December 2025, culture, and lifestyle to Old Doha Port, uniting international stars and Qatari talent in a landmark waterfront showcase.

“Receiving Platinum across all three categories is a powerful endorsement of the vision behind Polo AlMarsa and the collective commitment of our teams and partners,” said Ashraf Abuissa, Chairman of Qatar Polo Club. “This recognition reflects our ambition to position Qatar as a leading global destination for polo and premium sporting experiences, while celebrating our cultural identity and creating meaningful engagement for the community. Through Polo AlMarsa, we are not only elevating the sport of polo in the region, but also building a platform that connects heritage, lifestyle, and international excellence. We remain committed to growing this event into a world-class fixture on the global polo calendar that delivers long-term value for Qatar and our partners.”

Recognised as the Platinum winner of the MUSE Creative Awards in the Sporting Event, Public Event, and B2C Event categories, Polo AlMarsa  Qatar 2025 demonstrated that a complex, high-end equestrian event can be delivered at scale in a non-traditional waterfront location.

The MUSE Creative Awards is one of the world’s leading international design awards and creative competitions, honoring outstanding achievements in design innovation, creative excellence, and artistic vision across industries. The awards honor innovative projects that push boundaries, inspire audiences, and redefine global standards of design innovation and creative excellence.

Polo AlMarsa’s triple Platinum win highlights its leadership in shaping impactful events that inspire and engage diverse audiences.

International Padel Federation becomes WADA signatory

The International Padel Federation (FIP) is proud to announce that it has officially become a Signatory to the World Anti-Doping Code of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). This achievement follows a long and rigorous process, including a two-year collaboration with the International Testing Agency (ITA), and reflects FIP’s sustained efforts to align its governance, regulations, and anti-doping programme with the highest international standards. Becoming a WADA Code Signatory confirms that FIP fully complies with the requirements set out in the World Anti-Doping Code, placing Padel within the same robust anti-doping frame
